Robin Chazalon, owner of the Cave de Chaz

After attending a business school in Montpellier, Robin Chazalon worked for the wine merchant Millésimes for four years. The son of a winegrower and a true enthusiast, he decided to open his own wine cellar in April 2022: the Cave de Chaz. 

Coming from a wine background, Robin chose to open his own business in order to be in contact with his customers, to welcome them and advise them on the wines offered. This proximity to customers allows him to pass on his passion for wine as well as to show the know-how of the winegrowers. 

The Cave de Chaz, located in Villeneuve-les-Avignons, offers more than 200 wines and champagnes as well as a selection of craft beers and spirits. Robin goes to meet the winemakers in order to offer the best local products.

A carefully considered choice of layout and furniture

In carrying out his layout project, the owner of the Cave de Chaz was accompanied by his father to create the plans for the shop. After some research on the internet, the idea of the layout of his future cellar became precise and some measurements of the shop, he was able to start the selection of the Tradis furniture according to the surface of his business and his future products.

While thinking about the plans and the layout, he imagined his cellar in a traditional aspect. The choice of solid wood furniture came naturally. He preferred to opt for the warm atmosphere created by this material to enhance the wine bottles. The choice of colour for the "Aged Wood" finish was validated for its elegance and naturalness. To create contrast, Robin decided to paint the walls in a midnight blue colour to highlight the brightness of this colour. 

To finalise his choice of layout, Robin Chalazon was inspired by interviews with wine cellar owners and photos of customer projects available on the Tradis website. The photos allowed him to make an informed choice about the layout of his cellar and its furniture. He chose TRADIS for its solid wood furniture by taking inspiration from the photos sent by other independent retailers but also by relying on the customer reviews posted on the site. After almost a month of opening, Robin is more than satisfied with his order and the final result.

The delivery times initially announced were perfectly respected and the appointment for the delivery allowed him to organise the unloading.
